Dr. Johnson's workshops are offered throughout the year at Healthtrax Fitness and Wellness in Dartmouth, MA., Lotus Rising Healing Arts Center in Fall River, MA., and The Healing Coop in Middletown, RI.   She also presents programs throughout New England for colleges, health care facilities, non-profit organizations and other organizations that can benefit from these teachings.

6-Week Program Format
$30 per lecture $150 for 6-week series if registered a week or more before first session
$35 per lecture $175 per series if registered less than one week before the first session. 
Space can not be guaranteed for registration less than one week prior to the session.
$15 fee for those requesting CEU's



Session One


STRESS MANAGEMENT - The negative impact that stress has on every system of our bodies will be discussed along with various meditation/relaxation techniques that can counteract this damage.


Session Two

MINDFULNESS MEDITATION - Mindfulness meditation is a practice that helps you to cultivate awareness of the present moment. Spending most of our time obsessing about the past or worrying about the future, we miss out on our lives in process. More than a meditation, it is a practice which makes for a more mindful, fuller life.


Session Three


GUIDED IMAGERY MEDITATION - Images or thoughts presented to the subconscious mind when in a state of deep relaxation can be a potent tool for counteracting stress, healing, clarifying thoughts and helping a person to access his/her own inner wisdom.


Session Four


MEDITATION TO OPEN THE HEART - The Buddhist meditations of Lovingkindness and Tonglen. The Buddhist are not alone in the ideology that caring for and giving love to others is as healing for the giver as it is for the recipient.



Session Five


MEDITATION - THE MISSING LINK IN NUTRITION & EXERCISE - A unique and positive perspective on "dieting" and fitness. It may not be lack of will power but poor self esteem which keeps us from taking the best possible care of our bodies. Accessing one's inner wisdom in meditation helps to overcome the psychosocial and emotional roadblocks to our making the most healthy lifestyle choices.


Session Six

SPIRITUALITY IN MEDICINE - This session looks at the philosophy behind a variety of religious and secular spiritual practices. From a Mind-Body-Spirit perspective, it matters not what your spiritual beliefs are but that having a regular spiritual practice has a significant positive impact on a person's health and well being. The only requirement for this session is an open mind!
